Born and raised in New Mexico, Megan Torres divided her time between the city of Albuquerque and her father's family ranch in Angel Fire. Megan took art and photo classes from grade school through college. In high school she earned awards for her photography, pastel, and acrylic work and was asked to participate in a city-sponsored mural project in downtown Albuquerque. Megan joined the Peace Corps and served the people of El Salvador as an Environmental Educator. When Megan returned to the United States, she learned about labels, styling, fabrics, trends, and merchandising while working as a Buyer at one of the Buffalo Exchange stores in Albuquerque. She took a sewing class at a fabric store before deciding to apply to the Academy of Art University. Currently, she works for R.E.Load Bags as an Assistant Designer. In the San Francisco design studio, she helps create unique and interesting designs including custom orders for the demanding Japanese market. Additionally, she is a manager at Haight Ashbury Tattoo and Piercing.
Megan Torres è nata nel Nuovo Messico, e ha vissuto tra Albuquerque e il ranch di famiglia di Angel Fire. Megan ha seguito corsi di arte e fotografia sin dalle scuole superiori e anche al college.
